The Dunmore

The Dunmore is a brand new neighbourhood bar and restaurant located in Rathmines in Dublin. The Dunmore has been featured in The Irish Times “25 of the best new Irish restaurants to try this summer”.

The building itself is steeped in history, a previous incarnation imagined it as a pirate ship themed music venue. Having lay derelict for a number of years, the building has been reimagined by Luca Architecture. Luca have transformed the building into a stunningly beautiful, high end bar and restaurant that is exceptionally sympathetic to the history of the building. Original features are highlighted against a timeless modern finish throughout.

Our approach with the design of the identity was to create an elegant solution that was sympathetic to the interiors and the history of the building all the while creating a contemporary look and feel. The logotype is set in a modern serif that lends a classic overall look to the brand while the colour palette and supporting typography introduce a more contemporary feel.
